Add or Remove a Page
Log in to your Wix account and open your website in Wix Studio.
To add a page:
Click Pages in the left-hand menu.
Click + Add Page and select a template or start with a blank page.
Name the page and click Done.
Adjust the navigation menu to include the new page, if needed.
To remove a page:
In the Pages menu, hover over the page you want to delete.
Click the three dots (…) and select Delete.
Click Publish to save your changes.
Update Contact Form
Log in to Wix and open your website.
Click on the contact form to select it.
To modify fields:
Click Manage Fields in the toolbar.
Add, edit, or delete fields as needed.
To update email notifications:
Click Form Settings, then Email Notifications.
Enter or update the recipient email address.
To edit the thank-you message:
In Form Settings, find the Submission Message section and update it.
Save and click Publish.
Add Blog Post
Log in to Wix and open your website.
Click Blog Manager from the left menu.
Click + New Post and enter your title, content, and any media.
Format the text, add images or links, and click Publish to make it live.
Embed Third-Party Content
Log in to Wix and open your website.
Click Add Elements and select Embed Code.
Paste the embed code (e.g., Google Maps, YouTube) into the field.
Adjust size and position as needed.
Save and click Publish.
Text Changes
Log in to your Wix account and open your website in Wix Studio.
Navigate to the page where you want to change the text.
Click directly on the text element (heading, paragraph, or body text) you want to edit.
A text editing toolbar will appear. Type the new text directly into the text box or paste it from another source.
Use the toolbar to adjust formatting, font style, size, or color if needed.
Click anywhere outside the text box to save your changes.
Once you’re happy with the changes, click Publish to make your updates live.
Change Colors and Fonts
Log in to your Wix account and open your website in Wix Studio.
To change colors:
Click on Site Design in the left-hand menu.
Select Colors to access the color palette.
Update the primary or secondary colors to match your new preferences.
Save changes, and all connected elements will automatically update.
To change fonts:
In the Site Design section, select Text.
Choose a new font family or adjust size and style for headings, paragraphs, or other text types.
Save your changes to apply them site-wide.
Test your changes across different pages to ensure consistency.
Click Publish to make your updates live.
Replace an Image
Log in to your Wix account and open your website in Wix Studio.
Navigate to the page containing the image you want to replace.
Click directly on the image. A toolbar or image settings menu will appear.
Click on Replace Image or Change Image. This will open your media library.
Choose an image from your media library or click Upload Media to upload a new image from your computer.
Once the new image is selected, it will replace the old one.
Adjust the size or alignment of the image if necessary.
Click Publish to save your changes and make them live.
Edit FAQ Section
Log in to your Wix account and open your website in Wix Studio.
Navigate to the page containing the FAQ section.
Click directly on the FAQ element or the specific question/answer you want to edit.
To edit the text, simply click on the question or answer and type your changes directly.
To add a new FAQ:
Look for an Add Item or + button in the FAQ settings toolbar.
Enter the new question and answer in the provided fields.
To remove an FAQ:
Hover over the specific question/answer and click the Trash Bin or Delete icon.
Review your changes, then click Publish to make them live.
Link a Button
Log in to your Wix account and open your website in Wix Studio.
Navigate to the page containing the button you want to link.
Click directly on the button. A settings toolbar will appear.
In the toolbar or settings panel, look for the Link option (usually represented by a chain icon).
Click on Link, then choose the type of link you want:
Page: Link to another page on your website.
Web Address: Link to an external website.
Anchor: Link to a specific section on the same page.
Email/Phone: Set up an email or phone link.
Enter the URL, select the page, or choose the anchor point as required.
Save your changes and click Publish to make the button functional on the live website.
Host and Connect a Custom Domain (e.g., GoDaddy)
Log in to your Wix account.
Open the website you want to connect to a custom domain.
In the dashboard, click Settings on the left-hand menu.
Under the Domain section, select Connect a Domain.
Choose one of the following options:
Buy a New Domain: Purchase a domain directly from Wix.
Connect an Existing Domain: If you already own a domain from another provider, click this option.
If connecting an existing domain, follow the instructions to update your DNS settings with your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap):
Update the Nameservers or add the A Record and CNAME Record provided by Wix.
Once the DNS changes are made, return to Wix and click Verify Connection to complete the process.
Your domain will be connected and hosted on Wix once the DNS changes propagate (this can take up to 48 hours).
Adjust Spacing and Alignment
Log in to your Wix account and open your website in Wix Studio.
Navigate to the section or element (text, image, container, etc.) where you want to adjust spacing or alignment.
Click on the element to select it.
In the toolbar or Settings Panel, look for the Spacing or Margins & Padding section.
Padding: Adjust the space inside the element between its content and border.
Margin: Adjust the space outside the element, which affects its position relative to other elements.
Use sliders or manually input values (e.g., 10px, 20px) for top, bottom, left, or right spacing.
In the Alignment section of the toolbar, select the alignment option (e.g., left, center, right, justify).
Check responsiveness by previewing your website on mobile, tablet, and desktop views in the editor.
Save your changes and click Publish.
